Rydal Penrhos School

Competitive Houses

All pupils on entry to the school are allocated to one of the competitive houses named after important people in the school’s history. These include Osborn, Wesley, Payne and Morgan. These houses compete for points against each other across a variety of academic, cultural and sporting disciplines. Some of the highlights of the year include Sports Day, the christmas carol singing competition, sports mile run for charity as well as musician of the year. Day pupils also join the senior boarders as members of a boarding house, which compete in various fun inter-house events throughout the year.
