Rydal Penrhos School Director of Marketing and Admissions
An outstanding and energetic individual is required to lead the Marketing & Admissions team at Rydal Penrhos School, with overall responsibility for all aspects of marketing and admissions
Rydal Penrhos is a co-educational day and boarding school of around 570 pupils aged 3-18, with around 390 in the senior school (11-18). It is located in Colwyn Bay, on the North Wales coast, with stunning scenery and easy access to Snowdonia, Chester and Manchester.
The successful candidate is expected to have significant experience of all aspects of external relations, especially marketing and admissions, though experience of independent schools is not essential. He or she must have the ability to plan and think strategically, and be a confident and outgoing communicator. Overseas recruitment is an important aspect of the role.
Reporting to the Headmaster, the post holder will be a member of the school’s Senior Management Team. This is a full-time position.

Rydal Penrhos School Cook – Senior School
An enthusiastic and highly motivated Cook is required to work within a professional Catering Department.
The successful applicant would be required to produce a high quality food service to pupils, staff and visitors of Rydal Penrhos School, approximately 450 meals per service. Minimum qualifications required NVQ level 2 or City & Guilds 706/2 and Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. Catering experience in a similar environment is essential. Experience of baking is desirable.
Applicants will be required to work unsupervised and to be flexible to cater for additional events, functions and lettings as required , these events may fall outside term time periods.
16 hours per week
Hours of work:
Monday and Thursday 10.00am to 1.30pm
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10.00am to 1.00pm
Rate of pay: £7.28 per hour.
The position is term time only which is 35 weeks plus 2 additional weeks. Additional hours may be required to cover functions and holiday lets.
Uniform is provided.
