Payment of Fees
There are several schemes to help parents with the payment of fees. These include monthly installments and payment in advance. The Director of Finance, Kathy Baines can provide details of these schemes and can also put parents in touch with School Fee Plan, who will assist with financial planning.
To contact Miss Baines, telephone 01492 532728 or email kbaines@rydal-penrhos.com.
Normal Terms are payment on or before the first day of term by cash, cheque, bank transfer or Internet banking payment.
The fee covers the principal charges for tuition, basic stationery, accommodation, Health Centre fees, meals and (for boarders) normal laundry. The general charge covers sundries such as the school magazine, plays, team fares, entertainment in school, termly calendars, the Rydal Penrhos Society and St John’s Methodist Church but does not include excursions, dry-cleaning and examination fees.
A deposit of £300 will be required on a pupil’s entry to the school which will be accounted for at the end of the final term.
For existing year 11 pupils entering into the Sixth form, a discount is applied to the above fees. Please contact the bursary for further details.
Forces bursaries and sibling discounts are available.
Optional extras
Instrumental music and singing lessons are available on request at a charge of £220 per term.
School fees protection scheme, Denplan and personal effects insurance are optional. Accident insurance is compulsory at a current cost of £3.75 per term.
As is the case with all schools, the fees quoted above are subject to a standard annual increase published each summer.
