A Preparatory School year group produced some incredible work relating to a special science project.
The Year 6 contingent at Rydal Penrhos have been working considerably hard on the classification of species under the expert care and support of science teacher Suzanne Wareing, and they were given a final task to determine what they had taken on during their classroom sessions.
Using their creative nous and various materials, the group produced their very own board games to help teach others about the process of species classification, which resulted in some truly exceptional creations.
There were plenty of interesting final products, which ranged from a Jumanji-themed game and card identification games to round off what has been an informative and worthwhile topic for each pupil involved.
Prep School Head Alison Hind, said: “This was another fine indication of the fine work being done every day here at Rydal Penrhos by our Year 6 pupils, who have all emerged as fantastic role models for younger members of the school community.
“Mrs Wareing does a brilliant job of not only bringing the key messages of specific topics across to the group, but also coming up with fun ways for them to outline what they learn which will also benefits future generations in the years to come.”
