Upper Sixth Form pupils said goodbye to life at Rydal Penrhos in style thanks to a series of special events.
The departing Year 13 group have all played a significant role in the overall success of the school during their education, and they were front and centre for the annual Leavers’ Service on Friday, May 24.
During the celebration, there were addresses to the congregation from Senior School Head Sally Ann Harding, the Reverend Nick Sissons and departing Head Boy Nick Fiorita and Head Girl Gowri Pradeep.
This was followed by one of the most prominent social events on the Rydal Penrhos calendar on Saturday, with staff, parents and pupils descending on the The Kinmel and Kinspa in Abergele for the eagerly anticipated Leavers’ Ball.
Outgoing Deputy Head Boy Miles Poller and Deputy Head Girl Nuria Senderos Montolio gave a fantastic speech full of emotion and comedy, before those in attendance danced the night away to complete what was a highly memorable weekend for the group.
Mrs Harding, said: “Our Upper Sixth have been a real credit to both themselves and everyone at Rydal Penrhos during their time here, and they can look back on their respective accomplishment and overall influence on the school with a great sense of pride.
“They have built life-long friendships, developed exceptionally from an academic perspective and thrived as role models for our younger pupils who are aiming to follow in their footsteps in the years to come.”
