Three budding Preparatory School musicians have been acknowledged for their exceptional hard work with grading success.
The trio all came through their recent assessments administered by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, and they received their certificates at Rydal Penrhos’ weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, January 12.
Year 5 pupil Fflur Pierce added to her impressive list of co-curricular accolades by passing her Grade Two Piano examination, which also gave nine credits for Level One of the initiative.
There was further cause for celebration in the form of Year 4 pupil Lucas Yu, who also managed to secure a pass from his Grade Two Piano assessment during the autumn term.
Rounding off the triumphs was Tilly Trueman, who demonstrated her exceptional vocal skills by sealing a Merit in her Grade One Singing exam, and all three pupils will now begin working hard in the hope of achieving further success in the coming months.
Director of Music Pete Williams, said: “This is yet further proof of the wealth of musical ability we have at our Prep School, and congratulations go to Fflur, Lucas and Tilly on their fantastic results.
“All of our pupils work immensely hard to gain co-curricular achievements and this is something they take a great deal of pride in, and when you see so many accolades coming from our Prep School pupils then the future of Rydal Penrhos is in very safe hands.”
