Three more Preparatory School pupils achieved success as part of an ongoing learning initiative.
Rydal Penrhos staff devised a new spelling challenge for pupils last year, which has three different levels each with 110 words.
The pupils have been encouraged to work towards their incremental targets of Gold, Silver and Bronze within each stage, and a plethora of certificates have already been issued as a result of their hard work since the initiative began.
The latest round of assessments saw a trio from various age groups secure accolades, with Year 3 pupil Tomas Milligan successfully coming through his Stage One Gold Award with flying colours.
Eloise Brown is another that achieved success at the same level of difficulty, with Year 6 pupil Sophie Edwards rounding off the triumphs with a Stage Two Silver Award.
Each pupil received a certificate acknowledging their respective achievements from Executive Principal John Waszek and Prep School Head Alison Hind Rydal Penrhos’ weekly Celebration Assembly over the last fortnight.
Mrs Hind, said: “Our Spelling Challenge continues to be an extremely worthwhile learning tool for our children, who have improved all aspects of their vocabulary and writing as a result.
“It has also aided them considerably with their ability to rise to the occasion in a pressurised environment, and congratulations go to Tomas, Eloise and Sophie on their latest achievements.”
