Tickets are now on sale for the Rydal Penrhos Dramatic Society production of Les Misérables.
The school’s 60-strong cast will be taking the stage over a three-night period from Thursday, March 28 until Saturday 30, with each performance taking place in the Memorial Hall from 7pm.
Those wishing to attend can now purchase tickets, which are priced at £10 for adults and £7 for children.
It has been a collective effort from the Rydal Penrhos community to ensure that the production is an enormous success, with Head of Sixth Form Leah Crimes, Director of Music Pete Williams and teacher Richard Davies working incredibly hard with the cast to ensure they are fully prepared and ready for the challenge that lies ahead.
The school’s Design Technology and Art departments, together with members of the maintenance team, are busy constructing and designing the set to further enhance the production.
Upper Sixth Form pupil Sean Hughes will take on the lead role of Jean Valjean, with Prefect Jenny Blackman looking to bring the character of Fantine to life.
Amy Yue, and Hannah Davies will share the role of Cosette, with Caitriona Searl and Emily Jones impressing considerably during the auditions and will take on the personality of Little Cosette.
Young law student Marius Pontmercy will be played by the enormously talented Kevin Farrell, and the outstanding vocal talent of Zahra Shamsi will also be taking the stage in her role as Éponine.
James Gilman, Will Rutherford, Perry Williams and Noah Lewis will share the role of Gavroche, and the charismatic presence of Tegid Goodman-Jones will lead Les Amis de l'ABC (the French Uprising) as Enjolras.
