Preparatory School staff lent their support to a prominent annual event in Colwyn Bay last weekend.
Rydal Penrhos had a special stall during the Prom Xtra extravaganza, which took place on Saturday, May 11 from 10am until 6pm.
Prep School Head Alison Hind and Assistant Head Catherine Hughes were among the teaching staff at the event, where they spoke with members of the public about the benefits of a Rydal Penrhos education.
Those visiting the stall also had the chance to take part in a General Knowledge quiz, with a free parent and child Sailing session with the school’s RYA Accredited programme up for grabs.
Thousands of people descended on the town for an action-packed event, which was held either side of Porth Eirias along the Colwyn Bay coastline.
The event was split into several zones along the seafront - the Adventure Zone, the Beach Zone and the Funfair Zone.
Made for thrill seekers, the Adventure Zone had a number of high-octane activities on offer – including a bubble football pitch, a climbing wall and a cave to explore.
Mrs Hind, said: “It was a fantastic occasion to be a part of and I would like to thank everyone that came along to our stall during Prom Xtra.
“We are proud to have a strong community involvement and events such as Prom Xtra do so much good for the Colwyn Bay and Conwy area.”
