Rydal Penrhos have announced their squad ahead of a fundraising football match this weekend.
The school will be taking on North Wales Dragons on Sunday, January 21, and the event will take place at the Giant Hospitality Stadium, home of JD Welsh Premier League side Llandudno (5pm kick-off).
Proceeds from the contest will be donated to The Offside Trust, which is a new organisation led by ex-footballer Steve Walters and former professional golfer Chris Unsworth, whose stories of child sexual abuse have inspired hundreds of people to speak out for the first time.
They are now working hard to improve and maintain child safeguarding throughout sport, and offer support to those that have suffered abuse with a confidential listening and referral service.
The squad features a number of talented individuals in the form of staff member Craig Stock and alumnus Harvey Holmes, while Upper Sixth Form pupils Matthew Trumper, Tawanda Harris and Head Boy Alex Benfield will also be involved.
WPL referee Mark Petch will add some much-needed experience to the defensive ranks alongside Llanfairpwll stopper Darren Baker, and a number of parents have also lent their support to the game.
Anyone wishing to donate can do so online, and there will also be a collection on the evening.
