Preparatory School gymnasts battled it out for bragging rights at a special competition earlier this term.
A large number descended on Rydal Penrhos’ Sports Hall for the annual inter-house Gymnastics competition, where they looked to impress judges in the hope of achieving success for their respective teams.
There were a host of outstanding routines throughout the event, with the duet of Ella Northcott and Elise Mazars further demonstrating their immense potential thanks to an absolutely flawless effort that was thoroughly deserving of the standing ovation and high marks it received.
Another routine to catch the eye was the performance of Jasmin Beckett-Donald and Gabriele Subkovaite, while Head Boy James Gilman and rugby star Max Cowen-Wright also showed their more subtle side with a standout showing.
The Year 5 trio of Violet Roberts, Grace Watkins and Freya Berklay also gave a very polished routine, and after a highly competitive afternoon of action Snowdon House that emerged with the crown.
Head of Boys’ Games Jamie McLeod, said: “The inter-house Gymnastics competition is always one of best events of the year, and this one proved to be no exception with some truly superb performances across all year groups.
“The standard was very high and it was great to see our pupils really embrace the competition despite some being out of their comfort zone and congratulations go to both Snowdon and everybody that took part.”
