A group of Sixth Form pupils at Rydal Penrhos have taken part in a special video detailing their experiences at the school.
Head Boy Nick Fiorita, Head Girl Gowri Pradeep, Deputy Head Boy Miles Poller, Nia Humphreys and Abhishek Bathula have been working with Communications Assistant Dean Jones on the promotional piece, which was officially released on Tuesday, January 22.
The video begins with Gowri speaking about the expert preparation she has received throughout the University application process, the UniFrog app and how that has benefitted her in recent months.
Miles then discussed the level of support received from teachers and his form tutor, outlining time management structure between academic and co-curricular as a key defining factor in his recent success, with Abhishek speaking on the differences between Year 11 and Year 12 in terms of independent study time.
Sports scholar Nia then talked in-depth about the vast array of co-curricular opportunities available at Rydal Penrhos, including the hugely successful Strength and Conditioning programme, the Cookery Club and Dramatic Society production.
Closing out the video was Nick, who focussed on the Leadership opportunities available at the school, and in particular his progression from Committees to the role of Head Boy.
Mr Jones, said: “This was a great deal of fun to work on and each pupil’s passion for the school was especially evident during the filming.
“Our Sixth Form is such a thriving area of Rydal Penrhos and this is down in no small part to the enthusiasm and dedication of the pupils and the incredible support and guidance they receive from staff.”
