Rydal Penrhos School’s charity committee are seeking donations ahead of this year’s Christmas Market.
The group of pupils have been working hard to plan the event, which is now in its fourth year and will once again be raising funds for Ty Gobaith Children’s Hospice in Conwy.
This year’s extravaganza will take place on Friday, December 7 from 3.30pm until 6pm, and will be a host of stalls available throughout the event to give market-goers the perfect chance to buy some last minute Christmas gifts for friends and family.
Those in attendance can enter the festive spirit by taking part in a charity raffle and auction, which is set to offer a host of fantastic prizes to win.
The school’s jazz band will also be on hand to keep people entertained, with Santa’s Grotto also making a welcome return.
Ty Gobaith provides care and support to life-limited children, young people and their families from Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales.
Deputy Head Tim Cashell, said: “Our Charity Committee have done a wonderful job in recent years with our Christmas Market, which quickly emerged into one of the most prominent dates on the Rydal Penrhos calendar and we are hoping for similar success this year.
“Ty Gobaith do so much wonderful work and we are proud to support them and other very worthwhile causes throughout the region on a consistent basis.”
Anyone wishing to donate to the raffle can leave items at the senior school reception, and for more information call 01492 530155.
