A group of aspiring Performing Artists from Rydal Penrhos’ Prep and Senior sites will be heading to the West End for a special show this weekend.
Darcie Harker-Weston, Saul Sugarman and Perry Williams from the Senior School, together with the Prep School trio of Head Girl Grace Watkins, Maggie McDuff and Elliot Spall will be part of the cast for the Pauline Quirke Performing Arts Academy production of Troubles a Brewin’.
The performance will take place at Her Majesty’s Theatre, situated on Haymarket in the City of Westminster, with the festivities set to begin at 6.30pm.
Each pupil has been working exceptionally hard in the lead-up to the event as part of the Academy’s base in Llandudno, and they will be joined on stage by members from Stroud and Derby to further enhance the cast.
Darcie (Annie Weathermoon), Saul (Bill), Perry (Mr Walton Elliott), Grace (Sheriff Trifle), Maggie (Cockroach band member) and Elliot (Townsfolk) are all set to play a significant part in the production, which will be another fantastic experience from all involved at the annual showcase.
Senior School Head Sally Ann Harding, said: “This is going to be another wonderful opportunity for our pupils to demonstrate their talent on the big stage, and it going to do an enormous amount for their confidence and overall development going forward.
“Darcie, Saul, Perry, Grace, Maggie and Elliot are all incredible passionate about performing and it is going to be a show not to be missed.”
