Sailing stars battled it out for bragging rights at Rydal Penrhos’ annual regatta.
The conclusion of another hugely successful season took place on Saturday, October 7, which also featured members of Llandudno Sailing Club and visitors from Sedburgh School for the first time.
After a highly competitive Fleet One Tera, Topper and Pico race, recent Welsh squad selection Llion Morris crossed the line in first place, with Jonas Lucas Nuelle closely behind in second.
Year 7 pupil Zac Roberts was rewarded for a fine effort with a third placed finish, with the improving Christian Cheesley finishing fourth.
The Fleet Two RS500 spoils went to the progressive pair of Harry Pulford and Josh Manning after a superb showing, while the hard-working Aidan Skinner added to his impressive list of recent accolades with the Fleet Three Laser title.
Joe Allen and Felix Corson emerged victorious from the Fleet Four Feva category thanks to their eye-catching cohesion throughout, with the team of Bella Rutherford and Emily Madden hot on their heels in second.
Rounding off the podium places were Will Beaumont and Nathan Williams from Llandudno.
Sailing administrator Petrina Blomeley, said: “The intention to build on the success of this year with hopefully more visiting sailors from further afield.
“I would like to offer huge thanks to all our super parents who volunteered their help both days on and off the water. Without their support we couldn't run these events.”
