Rydal Penrhos’ U16 squad has been named as the school prepares to host a high-profile tournament this weekend.
Director of Sport Allen Boyd has named a strong line-up ahead of the MSG Tours U16 Rugby 7s tournament, which is set to take place on Saturday, March 9.
There are a host of talented individuals within the squad, with the RGC U16 duo of Fin Hare and Sam Bixby set to play a significant role in any success that comes the hosts’ way.
Two more players to keep an eye on are George Smith-Edwards and Tom Hughes, with Theo Bryant looking to carry on his fine form so far this season.
The likes of Josh Doyle, Dylan Craddock and Aydan Garrod are also expected to feature heavily throughout the tournament, with Adrian Lewis, Josh Manning and Nicholas Riding looking to make an impression.
Teams will be put into four groups, and following the opening games, each team will be divided into Cup, Plate, Bowl, Trophy and Shield depending on their placings in each pool.
The tournament is currently going ahead, but staff at the school are keeping a close eye on the deteriorating weather conditions.
