An aspiring Preparatory School dancer has been rewarded for her exceptional progress with a notable grading success.
Rana Abou-Samra, a Year 5 pupil at Rydal Penrhos, successfully came through her recent Grade 2 Modern Theatre assessment, which was administered by the Dane Examination Board.
The ten-year-old has been working incredibly hard outside of Prep School hours to give her the best possible chance of succeeding, and this was reflected in her final mark of 53.
She received her certificate from Deputy Head Alison Hind, together with a generous round of applause, at Rydal Penrhos’ weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, May 4.
Rana has already set her sights on further accolades in the future, and is already working towards her next targets.
Mrs Hind, said: “This was an outstanding performance from Rana and one that she and everyone here at Rydal Penrhos is enormously proud of.
“We are always delighted to hear about co-curricular achievements that each pupil here takes part in during their free time, which are a great way to enhance different skills and gain new experiences that you may not necessarily receive in the classroom.
“Hopefully this is just the start of great things to come from Rana and I very much look forward to hearing about further success in the future.”
