A group of Preparatory School skiers have been rewarded for their excellent development during their winter sessions with individual awards.
Shane Ayeni, Ethan Akroyd, Henry Hibbert and Archie Jeeves have all been working hard at Llandudno’s Dry Ski Slope on a weekly basis, which has resulted in them securing star ratings from the initiative.
They all achieved various levels of success from the award, with Year 3 pupil Shane further highlighting his enormous promise with successful completion of the four star level.
There was further cause for celebration thanks to Archie’s five plus award, with the Year 6 duo of Ethan and Henry securing six plus accolades as a result of their application during the sessions.
Each pupil received a certificate acknowledging their efforts at Rydal Penrhos’ weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, April 20, and they join a plethora of other pupils that have already received their distinctions.
Head of Boys’ Games Jamie McLeod, said: “Our skiing programme over the winter has seen an incredible amount of progression from each pupil taking part, which is reflected in their overall final star ratings.
“We are very fortunate to live in a beautiful part of the world that gives the chance to offer a wide range of unique and exceptional opportunities, which is something that is the cornerstone of our success here at Rydal Penrhos.”
