Rydal Penrhos will welcome a host of teams from across the region for a special rugby sevens tournament this week.
The school will be hosting a U18 tournament at Burnage Rugby Club on Wednesday, February 7, which will feature a number of other teams from across Cheshire and the North West.
Giggleswick School will be looking to make it two consecutive victories in the competition, which will also see Oswestry School, Birkenhead School, Manchester Grammar School and Newcastle-under-Lyme School.
There will be plenty of talent on show from a Rydal Penrhos perspective, with Lancashire U18 squad member Kieron McNamara looking to enhance his growing reputation with another strong performance at the showcase.
RGC U18 mainstays Henry Maitland-Davies and Tomos Davies, fresh off their regional age grade success with the Gogs, are also set to play a leading role, while Cheshire youth selections Joseph Morrow and Harry Dean will also be counted on to perform.
Welsh rugby league international Will Lynch is another expected to catch the eye, with the pacey pair of Tawanda Harris and Elliot Wilkinson
