A host of Preparatory School pupils have been rewarded for their exceptional work thanks to an ongoing initiative.
As part of Rydal Penrhos’ achievement scheme, pupils across all age groups were selected for accolades in recognition of their academic and co-curricular efforts throughout the week.
The worthy recipients received their respective awards from Executive Principal John Waszek and Assistant Head Catherine Hughes at Rydal Penrhos’ weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, May 3.
Reception: Margot Gilmartin - for being helpful and trying hard in gym this week.
Year 1: Ahira Nimalan - for her focus and enthusiastic participation in Forest School.
Year 2: Charlotte Knight - for her spectacular use of speech marks.
3JW: Siham Clarke - for working hard on her handwriting.
4CEC: Ivan Wang - for settling in school life unbelievably well!! Great start!
5JP: Year 5 - for being impeccably well behaved on the residential trip.
6CC: Maggie McDuff - for her perseverance shown with some difficult maths work this week.
6JM: Keira Luke - for her great cricket fielding skills.
An impressive drawing from Steffan Atenstaedt drew a large round of applause from those in attendance and saw him receive the Artist of the Week Award, with Honey Hodgson-Jones scooping a Head’s Commendation after securing 30 House Points.
The first Pre-Prep Class of the Week of the summer term went to Year 1, with Year 3 picking up the Prep Class of the Week thanks to their impeccable conduct.
