A host of Preparatory School pupils have been rewarded for their exceptional work during the week thanks to an ongoing initiative.
As part of Rydal Penrhos’ achievement acknowledgement scheme, pupils across all age groups were selected for accolades in recognition of their academic and co-curricular efforts.
The highly anticipated Stars of the Week winners were announced by Deputy Head Alison Hind during the school’s weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, May 11.
Reception: Svaksh Singam - for his consistency with his work in the classroom.
Year 1: Oscar Kennedy-Evans - for always volunteering to do a job even before you realise it needs doing!!
Year 2: Charlie Lister-Brookes - for being a stoic soul and participating in the swimming gala.
3JW: Lawrence Aspell - for excellent work in Science.
4CEC: Tommy Spall - for his excellent ICT work this week.
5CC: Fflur Pierce - for writing an amusing and novel fantasy story.
5JP: Gabe Donohue - for an excellent & improved attitude to all his lessons.
6AG: Isabella Peevor - for a positive attitude in all subjects. Well done Issie!
6JM: Perry Williams - for his increased pace of work in maths!
The Year 4 duo of Cammie de la Mare Norris and Angelo Katsouris have been incredibly hard in the classroom this week, and this was recognised with their highly sought after Pen Licences.
Rounding off the awards was Philo Rozek, who produced a stunning portrait under the guidance of Art teacher Suzy Morris, who presented him with the Artist of the Week.
