A host of Preparatory School pupils have been rewarded for their exceptional work thanks to an ongoing initiative.
As part of Rydal Penrhos’ achievement scheme, pupils across all age groups were selected for accolades in recognition of their academic and co-curricular efforts throughout the week.
The worthy recipients received their respective awards from Prep School Head Alison Hind and Assistant Head Catherine Hughes at Rydal Penrhos’ weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, May 10.
Reception: Cai Valentine-Cottam - for trying really hard with his 'hold a sentence' in Read Write Inc.
Year 1: Angus de Ferranti - for doing so well in our Weekly Spelling Test.
Year 2: Archie-Glyn Chesworth - for his phenomenal progress with his reading.
3JW: Xavier Poynton - for being an excellent example of good behaviour and always working hard.
4CEC: Josh Williams - for his calm behaviour in and around the classroom.
5JP: Eloise Brown - for her excellent fielding in girls' cricket.
6CC: Violet Roberts - for her performance, in particular, accurate catching, in our recent rounders match.
6JM: Molly Alefounder - for her impressive progress & achievement in rounders.
Grayson Williams’ excellent efforts within the classroom over a period of time saw him awarded with his Pen Licence, and the coveted Pre-Prep Class of the Week went to Reception.
Miss Hughes rounded off the prizes with the Prep Class of the Week, which saw Year 6 crowned worthy winners.
