A host of Preparatory School pupils have been rewarded for their exceptional work thanks to an ongoing initiative.
As part of Rydal Penrhos’ achievement scheme, pupils across all age groups were selected for accolades in recognition of their academic and co-curricular efforts throughout the week.
The worthy recipients received their respective awards from Prep School Head Alison Hind at Rydal Penrhos’ weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, March 8.
Reception: Griff Robinson-Scoots - not only being very polite but for being a STAR (Stage 2!) reader!
Year 1: Eglantine Chasteau - for her enthusiasm, determination & success in learning to speak English.
Year 2: Freddie Griffin - for outstanding work on doubling and halving.
3JW: Eleanor Turner - for trying really hard with joined up handwriting.
4CEC: William Cheesley - for his sensible and mature attitude.
5JP: William Glanville - for his persistent hard work and determination in Maths.
6CC: Theo Roberts - for his creative sentence content when 'up-levelling' our writing in English.
6JM: Freddie MacLaverty - for continued development in ICT Robotics Club.
A beautiful canvas painting from Freddie Barrington-Chance saw him deservedly come away with the Artist of the Week Award from teacher Suzy Morris.
The highly coveted Pre-Prep Class of the Week went to Reception for their exceptional conduct in and out of the classroom, with Year 3 taking home the Prep Class of the Week accolade.
