A host of Preparatory School pupils have been rewarded for their exceptional work thanks to an ongoing initiative.
As part of Rydal Penrhos’ achievement scheme, pupils across all age groups were selected for accolades in recognition of their academic and co-curricular efforts throughout the week.
The worthy recipients received their respective awards from Senior School Head Boy Nick Fiorita and Head Girl Gowri Pradeep at Rydal Penrhos’ weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, March 22.
Reception: Adam Hassaan - for thoughtful answers, great concentration and beautiful manners.
Year 1: Layko Driver - for a well-structured piece of news writing.
Year 2: Keelan Shilton - for impressive vocabulary choices in his Big Write.
3JW: Whole Class - for behaving so well on the school trip and eating all their packed lunch.
4CEC: Whole Class - for their fabulous performances this week.
5JP: Amelia Williams - for being a kind, helpful and organised buddy to all our Italian visitors.
6CC: William McLaughlin - for his impressive accuracy with long division.
6JM: Louis Walkden Williams - for learning his lines so well all ready for Mary Poppins.
A beautiful creation from Clarence Chasteau saw him come away with the Artist of the Week Award from teacher Suzy Morris, with the Year 6 duo of Theo Roberts and William Hibbert picking up their Pen Licences thanks to their sterling efforts in the classroom.
Assistant Head Catherine Hughes announced Reception as Pre-Prep Class of the Week, with Year 6 leading by example to scoop the Prep Class of the Week accolade.
