A host of Preparatory School pupils have been rewarded for their exceptional work during the week thanks to an ongoing initiative.
As part of Rydal Penrhos’ achievement scheme, pupils across all age groups have been selected for accolades in recognition of their academic and co-curricular efforts throughout the week.
The worthy recipients received their respective awards from Deputy Head Alison Hind at the Prep School’s weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, June 22.
Here are the Stars of the Week:
Reception: Xander Poynton - for always being so kind.
Year 1: Keelan Shilton - to celebrate his improvement in handwriting.
Year 2: Tomás Milligan - for his joyous enthusiasm and diligence when reading.
3JW: Martha-Rose Johnson & Emily Nurse - for super work in poetry and hard work in History.
4CEC: Rupert Barrington-Chance - for excellent participation on our class trip to Plas Mawr.
5CC: William Hibbert - for his enthusiastic and thoughtful contributions to class discussions.
5JP: Tristan Griffiths - for always producing an excellent standard of work in Maths.
6AG: Thomas Wale - for supporting Year 6 in the play rehearsals with his ICT skills.
6JM: Elise Mazars - for her positive contribution to school life this week.
A superb creation from Year 5 pupil Cieran Milligan earned significant praise from teacher Suzy Morris, and he was rewarded the Artist of the Week distinction.
