A host of Preparatory School pupils have been rewarded for their exceptional work thanks to an ongoing initiative.
As part of Rydal Penrhos’ achievement scheme, pupils across all age groups were selected for accolades in recognition of their academic and co-curricular efforts throughout the week.
The worthy recipients received their respective awards from Prep School Head Alison Hind and Assistant Head Catherine Hughes at Rydal Penrhos’ weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, June 14.
Reception: Tommy de Ferranti - for trying hard with his letter sounds and numbers this week.
Year 1: Layko Driver - for her super reading.
Year 2: Freddie Griffin - for his super work on pronouns.
3JW: Eryn Mart - for always working hard and helping others.
4CEC: James Davies and George Rozek: for his lovely scrap book about our recent residential trip. For his enthusiastic approach to reading and well deserved progress.
5JP: Lucy Ranales-Griffiths and Izhran Shah - for showing amazing stamina and commitment to the school in Sailing, drama and testing. For super neat, accurate work in Maths.
6CC: Will Hibbert - for being very supportive towards his friends
6JM: Louis Walkden-Williams - for working hard to polish his appearance.
A number of pupils were presented with their Pen Licences, with Xavier Poynton, Tomas Milligan, Mollie Alefounder, Steffan Atenstaedt and Siham Clarke rewarded for their exceptional efforts within a classroom environment.
Jensen Hodgson-Roberts’ impressive bird drawing saw him claim the Artist of the Week title from teacher Suzy Morris, and the coveted Pre-Prep Class of the Week was secured by Year 2.
Rounding off the distinctions were Year 3, who were crowned Prep Class of the Week.
