A host of Preparatory School pupils have been rewarded for their exceptional work during the week thanks to an ongoing initiative.
As part of Rydal Penrhos’ achievement acknowledgement scheme, pupils across all age groups were selected for accolades in recognition of their academic and co-curricular efforts.
The highly anticipated Stars of the Week winners were announced by Deputy Head Alison Hind during the school’s weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, February 2.
Reception: Whole Class - for being so polite and kind to each other on their school trip.
Year 1: William Aspell - for super effort and focus in Maths this week.
Year 2: Oscar Jewsbury & Tomás Milligan - for their extraordinary diligence by volunteering to write extra stories in their playtime.
3JW: William Cheesley - for working really hard on his handwriting.
4CEC: Lily Copeland - for always coming in calm and prepared for every lesson.
5CC: Adam Williams - for his conscientious attitude in Maths and for being such a kind and helpful pupil.
5JP: Louis Walkden-Williams - for enthusiasm and good teamwork in Forest School.
6AG: Thomas Wale - for good participation and ideas in Literacy
6JM: India Livingstone - for her continued development in Maths, stemming from her great attitude and focus.
We also saw a large number of pupils receive Skier of the Week certificates as part of their efforts on the slopes over the last fortnight, with some winning the honour for both sessions.
Isabella Peevor was a well-deserved recipient of the Artist of the Week after achieving national recognition!
