Preparatory School pupils and family members got creative as part of a week-long event.
Rydal Penrhos held its annual Christmas Art Workshop took place from Monday, November 27 until Friday, December 1, which saw 60 visitors join their children throughout the week.
This year’s theme was ‘Home’ and those attended were tasked with creating their depiction of a House of any kind, and 120 creations were made and will now be put on display at St John’s Church throughout the festive period.
There were a number of superb designs, with a dog house, doll house and Donald Trump’s house of cards among the highlights.
The workshops are the first in a series of Christmas themed events taking place at the Prep School over the next fortnight, which will also see pupils taking to the stage for the annual Musical, a trip on a Santa train and the school will be visited once again by St Nicholas himself.
Deputy Head Alison Hind, said: “Our Christmas Art Workshops have been extremely well supported this year and I would like to thank all the parents and other family members that took part.
“Art teacher Suzy Morris did a wonderful job with the organisation and ensuring that everyone got the very most out of the experience, and she deserves an enormous amount of credit for everything she does for our pupils here at Rydal Penrhos.
“Hopefully this trend will continue throughout what is a very busy period at the school heading into the Christmas break.”
