Preparatory School pupils and staff closed out the academic year in style at an annual social event.
The school held its annual Leavers’ Lunch on Friday, July 6, where Rydal Penrhos’ Prep School community gathered together one final time before heading off on their well-deserved summer break.
The event marked the end at the Prep School for both the Year 6 and some staff members, who are all departing for the next stage of their respective journeys after an outstanding contribution to all areas of Rydal Penrhos life.
Catering providers Holroyd Howe put on a lavish spread for those in attendance, with school Chaplain the Reverend Nick Sissons opening the lunch with a special prayer giving thanks.
The lunch followed another hugely successful Speech Day event, which celebrated the wealth of academic and co-curricular achievements from hard-working pupils throughout the academic year under the guidance and support of dedicated staff at the school.
Prep School Head Alison Hind, said: “Our Leavers’ Lunch is always something that is very much enjoyed by pupils and staff alike, and I would like to thank Holroyd Howe and their fantastic staff for putting on a fantastic selection of food for everyone in attendance to enjoy.
“It marks the end of an era for our Year 6 group, but they leave with our very best wishes and I am confident they will all continue to thrive thanks to the solid foundations they have built during their time at the Prep School.”
