A host of Preparatory School pupils have been rewarded for their exceptional work during the week thanks to an ongoing initiative.
As part of Rydal Penrhos’ achievement acknowledgement scheme, pupils across all age groups were selected for accolades in recognition of their academic and co-curricular efforts.
The highly anticipated Stars of the Week winners were announced by Year 2 teacher Gaynor Davies during the school’s weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, April 20.
Xander Poynton was presented with a certificate for working so hard during the recent Easter holidays, while Elliot Spall’s impressive transition to Rydal Penrhos life also earned him the distinction.
April Williams and Agatha Favill were also among those selected thanks to their contribution on the Year 3 and 4 residential to The Towers Outdoor Learning Centre, with Honey Hodgson-Jones also rewarded for an outstanding week.
Rounding off the successes were the Year 6 trio of Jonah Craddock, Isabella Peevor and Gabriele Subkovaite, who excelled in areas such as literacy and swimming to scoop their respective prizes.
James Mann has been working incredibly hard on a portrait under the guidance of Art teacher Suzy Morris, and his exceptional creation impressed so much that he was presented with the Artist of the Week honour.
