Popular Baby Brahms Concert to return following half term break

A long-running classical music event for toddlers will take place at Rydal Penrhos Prep School following the half term break.

The Baby Brahms event has been designed for young children to enjoy classical music in a relaxed, baby-friendly environment, and it will take place on Friday, March 8 from 10am-11.30am.

Two instruments will be used in separate performances, with the cello and harp taking focus during the showcase.

Any babies that wish to get up close and personal with the musicians can do so in the soft floor area, while there will also be a chance to try mini violins during the interval.

The cost is £5 per adult with children free, and there is a limit of three children per adult.

Members of the public in addition to Prep School parents are welcome to attend.

Prep School Head Alison Hind, said: “Our Baby Brahms events have proven to be incredibly popular additions to the calendar, and hopefully this is a trend that will continue long into the future.

“The concerts are a great way to socialise in a relaxed environment with your child or children, and well done to our staff who work hard to put on events such as this.”

Anyone wishing to book their place should contact Susan Williams via email at SWilliams@rydalpenrhos.com, or by calling the Prep School reception on 01492 530381.
