A group of Preparatory School pupils have been making their most of their summer holidays thanks to a special initiative.
Rydal Penrhos’ Playscheme contingent have been taking part in a host of different activities under the care and support of dedicated staff at the school, which has seen them fully utilise the superb location on the North Wales coast to full effect.
The group took part in a fun-filled excursion to Conwy mountain, where they climbed and abseiled down the picturesque peak,
There was plenty of fun to be had during their trip to Rhosneigr beach, in addition to a Forest School morning and a visit to Caernarfon Castle.
Each pupil attending the Playscheme also enhanced their learning thanks to a visit to the RSPB Nature Reserve in Llandudno Junction, where they examined the wildlife situated at the site and recorded their findings to present to centre staff.
There is plenty more for the group to enjoy for the remainder of the summer, with trips planned to Chirk Castle’s storybook trail, exploring the Little Orme and Greenacres Animal Park on the agenda.
They will also be travelling to Bodnant Gardens, Manorafon Farm Park, Newborough Forest and Greenwood Forest Park during an action-packed August schedule.
