A Sixth Form pupil at Rydal Penrhos has secured a conditional place at one of the country’s most prestigious further education establishments.
Nia Seenan, a Year 13 pupil at the school, will study Psychology with Neuroscience at King’s College London following a hugely impressive university application process and pending the necessary A-level results this summer.
The degree course also includes a year abroad to further enhance her experience within the profession, and Nia also received offers from the University of Liverpool, Manchester University, the University of Nottingham and Leeds University.
This is the culmination of a hugely successful spell at Rydal Penrhos for Nia, who arrived as a Year 7 pupil in 2012 and has achieved a considerable amount during that time.
A talented artist, Nia was a member of the team that travelled to Uganda for the school’s latest charity mission, and she has also thrived in other areas such as Athletics in addition to showing enormous progress on the school’s A-level Psychology course.
Senior School Head Sally Ann Harding, said: “Nia has worked tremendously hard throughout her Sixth Form studies and during her time at Rydal Penrhos, so we are absolutely thrilled that she has secured a provisional place at King’s College London in her field of choice.
“Introducing Psychology at A-level has been very well received during the first two years and I wish Nia the very best of luck during her upcoming examinations.”
