Work to improve another area of Rydal Penrhos has received praise from Headmaster Simon Smith.
The school’s Uniform Shop was recently moved to St John’s Church in the latest step in improving and making the very most out of the facilities throughout Prep and Senior sites.
The spacious new room is full of archived material throughout the years at Rydal Penrhos, which also include pictures of sporting sides, prominent buildings and old maps of the North Wales region.
There is also memorabilia available to view in the form of old uniforms, plaques and sports equipment, while the board detailing international honours achieved by former pupils is another eye-catching element to the room.
This move will allow the former location at The Grange to be developed for the increased use of Middle School pupils in the coming months.
Rydal Penrhos recently secured an agreement with kit suppliers Canterbury of New Zealand, providing sports clothing for all areas including rugby, hockey, netball, tennis and golf.
Mr Smith thanked Estates Manager Richard Smith and his team for their work during the project at a Support Staff briefing on Thursday, January 18, and added that he was “particularly impressed” with the way the room looked.
