Preparatory School musicians are in the final stages of rehearsals ahead of a high-profile event next week.
Some of Rydal Penrhos’ most gifted young vocalists and musicians will take the stage for the annual Reception to Year 4 Concert, which will take place at the School Hall on Wednesday, May 22.
Music teacher Richard Davies has been busy with each year group ahead of the showcase, which will feature a host of individual contributions across a variety of different instruments.
The concert will also see some highly anticipated group performances from each year group, who will be looking to end the first half of the summer term in style in front of a live audience.
The festivities are set to run from 5.30pm until 6.30pm, with all parents and family members welcome to attend.
Prep School Head Alison Hind, said: “Our Reception to Year 4 Concert is always one of the highlights of the academic year here at Rydal Penrhos, and this year’s celebration of our wonderful musical talent promises to be another wonderful occasion for those in attendance.
“Performing in a relaxed setting in front of an audience does wonders for their confidence and overall development, whether it be with a microphone in their hand or playing an instrument.”
