A departing Sixth Former has seen his drive and willingness to improve in relation to his A-level studies rewarded with a special award.
Mason Clark, a Year 13 pupil at Rydal Penrhos, is now the proud owner of the Rankilor Prize for General Progress after receiving the distinction from former pupil and special guest speaker Dr Victoria Galbraith at the school’s annual Speech Day celebration.
The accolade is a result of Mason’s outstanding development and commitment to his academic studies during the final year of his time at Rydal Penrhos, which began as a Year 7 pupil back in 2012.
An enthusiastic individual who is always willing to assist in any way he can, Mason has contributed in various areas such as Rugby and Hockey in addition to displaying the sort of dedication to his studies that is evident across all year groups at the school.
Senior School Head Sally Ann Harding, said: “Mason has been a massive part of the Rydal Penrhos community for some time now, and he has developed across all areas of school life incredibly well thanks to his hard work under the guidance, support and care of the dedicated teaching and support staff we are fortunate to have here.
“His willingness to listen, adapt and thrive ensures that Mason can leave Rydal Penrhos with his head held high, and we wish him the very best of luck in whatever he decides to do in later life.”
