A Preparatory School pupil has been rewarded for her outstanding efforts from a scientific perspective with a special award.
Martha-Rose Johnson, a Year 4 pupil at Rydal Penrhos, scooped the Scientist of the Half Term Award from teacher Suzanne Wareing at the school’s weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, May 3.
The multi-talented individual has shown considerable promise academically across all subjects since arriving at Rydal Penrhos, which includes a standout contribution to her Science lessons to further enhance her overall general knowledge and development.
This is the latest in a series of new awards issued by the Prep School as part of their ongoing achievement acknowledgement scheme, and Martha-Rose received her latest distinction from Assistant Head Catherine Hughes and Executive Principal John Waszek.
Prep School Head Alison Hind, said: “Martha-Rose is a very enthusiastic pupil who is always looking to better herself under the guidance and care of our committed staff team at Rydal Penrhos, and it is no surprise to see her dedication rewarded with the Scientist of the Half Term Award.
“Her inquisitive nature and ability to adapt to different situations is something that is greatly benefitting her overall education, and hopefully this is something that is going to be a prominent feature throughout her education to ensure that her overall goals are met.”
