A bundle of energy who has made a smooth transition to Senior School life, Sophie will be assuming numerous roles during the Dramatic Society production of Les Misérables.
The Lower School pupil has been at Rydal Penrhos since the start of Year 6 but has already become a valued member of her peer group, thanks in no small part to her enthusiastic demeanour and ability to turn her hand to almost anything.
Sophie is no stranger to the stage having played the role of Princess Jasmin during the Year 6 play Aladdin, with her performance drawing widespread plaudits.
She has also been part of the school’s Speech and Drama provision and has taken part in both their S&D Presents and Comedy Night events, further enhancing her skills in front of a crowd.
Her involvement with the programme has also brought with it some outstanding grading success from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art assessments,
The confident pupil is also an influential member of the sporting provision offered by Rydal Penrhos, with Sophie gaining experience in areas such as Skiing, Netball and Girls’ Rugby.
Sophie recently took part in a special Music project surrounding the Welsh Mountain Zoo with English and Drama teacher Fiona Earle and Director of Music Peter Williams, with her encouraging academic progress another eye-catching feature of her overall contribution to school life.
