An enthusiastic pupil who has been a huge part of Rydal Penrhos life despite her tender age, Ruby will be taking on three roles during the upcoming Dramatic Society production of Les Misérables.
The Lower School pupil arrived at Rydal Penrhos has already spent nearly a decade of her life at the school after joining as Kindergarten child in 2009, and she has developed considerably across all areas thanks to her fun-loving nature and willingness to learn.
Her passion for all things related to the Performing Arts saw Ruby awarded a Drama scholarship ahead of Year 7 entry, and she has already made a lasting impression on stage at a series of high-profile events.
This included a superb performance in the Junior Drama Club pantomime that was organised to raise funds for Water Aid, and her contribution to RPS Showstoppers also drew significant praise during what was a superb celebration of Musical Theatre.
Ruby has also been heavily involved in community projects such as the work Rydal Penrhos does with the residents of Merton Place Care Home in Colwyn Bay, and her creative nous saw her win the Regional and District of the Rotary International Britain and Ireland Young Writers’ competition.
There have been plenty of Music grading achievements and LAMDA certificates for Ruby to celebrate during her time as a Rydal Penrhos pupil, and she has also enjoyed a considerable amount of success at the prestigious Chester Drama Festival.
Ruby’s academic development has been another standout feature of her time at the Senior School, and her progression in a sporting environment has further increased her overall influence.
