An ambitious performing artist who has been a cornerstone of Rydal Penrhos life for the entirety of her education, Ruby will be taking on numerous roles during the upcoming Dramatic Society production of Les Misérables.
The Sixth Form Prefect and Osborn House captain is a bubbly personality who has achieved a considerable amount at the school, and she is the granddaughter of much-loved former Principal Michael James.
Ruby is no stranger to the stage and has featured in a wealth of Dramatic Society productions over the years, with her contributions during To Kill a Mockingbird and Annie the Musical coming in for significant praise.
She also demonstrated his vocal ability during the RPS Showstoppers event, which celebrated all things related to Musical Theatre.
Her desire to reach the big time has seen the pupil secure a Distinction for her fantastic work with West End Stage, which is regarded as the top summer school of its kind in the country for young people aged eight to 21.
Ruby’s work as a Peer Mentor has supported younger members of the Rydal Penrhos community with the transition to Senior School, and her role in the Charity Committee has significantly boosted worthwhile fundraising events for worthy causes throughout the region and beyond.
She will be sorely missed by everyone at Rydal Penrhos once Ruby departs the school this summer on completing her A-level studies, with an exciting new stage of her journey imminent.
