A multi-talented pupil that is continuing a fine family tradition of success at Rydal Penrhos, Megan will be taking on numerous roles during the upcoming Dramatic Society production of Les Misérables.
The Middle School joined the Rydal Penrhos community at the start of Year 9 and wasted no time in making a serious impression on her peers and the wider school community in general.
Megan’s vocal talent is a joy to behold, with the pupil performing superbly at the annual Christmas Concert and with the school Choir at various community events throughout the academic year.
She is also incredibly comfortable on the water and has thrived as part of the school’s dedicated Sailing programme, which saw Megan secure a place in the RYA Cymru Wales National Feva squad as a result of her sterling efforts during a busy campaign for the programme.
Her academic exploits have also been a source of great encouragement, with Megan scooping a number of Effort and Attainment Prizes in recognition of her outstanding commitment to her studies.
Megan was also part of the school contingent that held a series of workshops at the recent take Part event at Venue Cymru, passing on her performing arts knowledge to younger members of the wider community.
She is also a key contributor to the school’s Girls’ Cricket side and received a Commended mark from a prestigious National Biology Challenge last year.
