A long-standing member of the Rydal Penrhos community who has been with us for more than a decade, Anna will be taking on numerous roles during the upcoming Dramatic Society production of Les Misérables.
The Year 11 group member joined Rydal Penrhos in 2007 as a Reception class pupil and has gone from strength-to-strength both academically and from a co-curricular perspective under the guidance and support of dedicated Prep and Senior staff.
Anna’s prowess on the Netball court has brought with it some fine achievements in recent years, with the talented player selected to the Eryri representative squad in 2017 at U14 level, and a notable feature of her success with the group was her strong showing at the North West Wales County Championships.
Her performances and conduct during the Netball tour of Greece also gained significant praise from Head of Girls’ Games Nicky Head to further reflect her progression since joining the senior set-up.
Anna’s scientific ability aided the Rydal Penrhos team secure a fine victory in the King’s School Chester Physics Olympics alongside fellow pupils Kevin Farrell, Eleanor Osbourne and Richard Wolfendale thanks to their sterling effort throughout the competition.
Her overall influence throughout Rydal Penrhos has resulted in some outstanding achievements from the school’s annual Speech Day events, and Anna’s performing arts skills have developed considerably as part of the GCSE Drama curriculum over the last two years.
