A Sixth Form pupil at Rydal Penrhos is set to pursue a career in Psychology after some impressive university offers.
Joe Morrow, a Year 13 pupil at the school, has been rewarded for an outstanding application process with five conditional offers from some well-respected further education establishments.
The 17-year-old secured places at the University of Cardiff, John Moores University, Liverpool University and the University of Glasgow on their Psychology degree courses.
He also secured a conditional offer from Liverpool Hope University, where he can study Health and Wellbeing and Psychology upon receiving the necessary A-level results this summer.
This rounds off a hugely successful time at Rydal Penrhos for Joe, who has thrived across a multitude of different areas and has also been a prominent member of the Sixth Form community in his role as Prefect and House Captain.
Joe’s efforts with the school’s Performing Arts programme has drawn widespread plaudits, which included a standout contribution to the Dramatic Society production of Les Misérables and a fine performance in his A-level Drama examination.
He is also a talented rugby player that has earned regional representative honours with Cheshire, and he is also shown considerable commitment to the school’s thriving Duke of Edinburgh programme.
