      Estates Grounds person / Gardener

      Rydal Penrhos are looking to recruit an Estates Grounds person / Gardener to assist in the provision of the highest standards of maintenance of all outdoor sports playing surfaces, school grounds and gardens across the School estate. Reporting to the Estates Head Gardener you will work in a small team of grounds garden staff to ensure the cost-effective delivery of services.

      Applicants should be suitably experienced and qualified in sports pitch provision and/or general grounds and garden horticulture maintenance, ideally including cricket squares/wicket preparation plus have the ability to work effectively as part of the grounds and gardens team.

      Hours of work – 37.5 hours per week

      As we are a boarding school with a seven-day a week timetable, the successful candidate will be required to be flexible in terms of working days and hours, which may include evenings and weekend working.  A working rota will be agreed by the management team to ensure matches/fixture needs are supported as requirements vary throughout the year.

      Wage:  circa £17,000 per annum

      Peripatetic Specialist Music Teacher

      Part time

      Rates of pay depending on qualifications and experience

      Rydal Penrhos invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to participate in the wide-ranging co-curricular Music provision for our pupils for the academic year 2019-2020.

      We are currently seeking specialist musicians who are passionate about Music and wish to share their passion with enthusiastic young people.

      Coaching support (part-time)

      Rates of pay depending on qualifications and experience

      Rydal Penrhos invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to participate in the wide-ranging sports provision available for our pupils for the academic year 2019-2020.

      The School is currently seeking coaching support within the following sports:

      • Cricket
      • Hockey
      • Netball
      • Rugby
      • Swimming and Water Polo

      Candidates should hold a relevant coaching qualification.

      Casual Drivers Required

      Rydal Penrhos are seeking to recruit casual drivers

      Current driving licence essential, preferably with category D1

      The work is part-time to operate our morning (7.00am to 8.30am approximately) and evening (5.00pm to 6.30pm approximately) bus runs and casual work to cover driver absences, airport runs and other miscellaneous driving requirements

      Rate of pay £7.83 per hour or determined by the bus route.
