A talented Preparatory School musician has added to her impressive list of achievements with another notable grading success.
Isabella Peevor, a Year 6 pupil at Rydal Penrhos, recently sat her Grade Three Flute examination, which was administered by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
The 11-year-old produced a fantastic performance to emerge from the assessment with a Merit after impressing adjudicators throughout, and she found out the wonderful news earlier this week.
This feat is made even more impressive given the amount of other activities the year group have taken part in this term as they prepare to leave Rydal Penrhos’ Prep site and make the short trip down to the Senior School following the summer break.
Isabella worked incredibly hard in the lead-up to the assessment with Music teacher Richard Davies and the rest of Rydal Penrhos’ dedicated staff, and she has already set her sights on further grading accolades in the coming months during her transition from the Prep.
Prep School Head Alison Hind, said: “To achieve Grade Three despite her tender age represents a significant milestone for Isabella, who is going to be sorely missed by everyone here at the Prep School.
“She has emerged as a valued and key contributor in all areas of Prep School life, and we are confident that Isabella is going to continue to thrive as a Year 7 pupil next year and beyond.”
