Prospective pupils looking at the next step in their education can find out what Rydal Penrhos has to offer at an upcoming event.
The school will be hosting its annual Into the Sixth Form Information Evening, which will be held in the Ferguson Centre on Tuesday, November 7 from 6pm.
During the event those attending will have an opportunity to see just what is available at Rydal Penrhos during the final two years of school life, including an in-depth look at the A-level curriculum in addition to the large of extra-curricular initiatives offered.
A number of staff will be on hand to answer any questions prospective pupils and their families may have about the wealth of facilities and opportunities that are offered to Sixth Formers, and current pupils will also be speaking on their time at the school and what they have made of the experience so far.
After an exceptional set of results, the school was ranked 69th as a co-educational boarding school in The Times and Daily Telegraph's A-level (and equivalent) League Tables, putting Rydal Penrhos ahead of some of the most recognised boarding schools in the country.
It was also listed 11th overall in the same tables for day and boarding schools from across North Wales, Cheshire and the North West based on their exam performance.
A* and A were the most frequently awarded A Level grades once again with 34.3 percent of entries receiving the top grades. 17.2% of pupils managed to collect A* grades, which is significantly higher than the national average of 8.3%.
This combined with July's International Baccalaureate Diploma results boosts the school's overall A*-A percentage at A-level or equivalent to nearly 40% and thus placing it well within the top 100 of similar schools.
