Rydal Penrhos is proud to welcome pupils from all over the world. At present we have pupils from more than 20 different countries in the school, and we work hard to ensure they are fully integrated into school life. Rydal Penrhos was founded in the Methodist tradition and a Christian ethos is at the heart of school life, however we welcome pupils from all faiths or none, and value this diversity.
We are always happy to receive enquiries from overseas families, either directly or through an agency. We work with many agencies in different countries, and these links can be helpful in providing assistance with translation, entry tests and admissions procedures, including visa applications.
There is a strong pastoral care framework in place to help all pupils with any issues they may face during their time here. Our houseparents provide invaluable support to boarders, and form tutors are on hand to help with any academic concerns. The Health Centre also plays a vital role in keeping pupils happy and healthy while they are away from home.
We embrace pupils from all countries and believe that our school community provides a great opportunity for pupils and staff alike to learn more about the many cultures represented in the school.
