A pair of Hockley stars at Rydal Penrhos performed well as part of their respective regional squads recently.
Jacob Heaton-Rue and Tegid Goodman-Jones were both selected for two separate North Wales sides that achieved success against Shropshire last month.
Year 9 pupil Tegid was part of the U14 side that produced a sensational performance to beat their rivals 3-0, with the 14-year-old playing a significant role in their triumph.
There was further success in the form of UK Lions selection Jacob, who continued his stunning recent form with a virtuoso display for North Wales U16’s in their resounding 5-0 success.
The duo, who both arrived at Rydal Penrhos last summer, will now be looking to maintain their form for their school sides in their hope of achieving further regional success in the future.
Director of Sport Allen Boyd, said: “Tegid and Jacob are two hockey players with enormous potential, and it is no surprise to see them doing so well on the regional stage.
“They work tremendously hard on improving all facets of their game, and you can see that all their efforts are reaping rewards when you look at all they have achieved since joining us here at Rydal Penrhos.”
