A committed pupil at Rydal Penrhos received acknowledgment for her exceptional dedication to Drama with a special award.
Heidi Jack, a Year 13 pupil at the school, received the Director of Drama Award for Contribution during the second annual Creative and Performing Arts Dinner, which took place at the Sixth Form Ferguson Centre.
The Sixth Former has been an invaluable contributor to Rydal Penrhos’ thriving Performing Arts provision since she joined the school community in Year 7, lending her support to Dramatic Society productions and other performances to further develop her impressive skill-set.
There have been plenty of highlights from Heidi’s perspective, who led younger members of the school community superbly in her role as Lead Dancer during Annie the Musical, and she rounded off a sensational time at the school with a polished performance in Les Misérables.
Heidi received her award from Senior School Head Sally Ann Harding and Head of Drama Rachel Jones, and she also produced a fine effort during her recent A-level examination performance.
Mrs Harding, said: “Heidi has demonstrated not only an incredible talent relating to the performing arts, but she has also developed her overall skills on stage considerably thanks to the wonderful work of our staff team.
“She has been a constant figure within our Dramatic Society productions, and her attitude has served as a great source of inspiration for young pupils who are looking to follow in her footsteps.”
