Another Preparatory School pupil is celebrating after formally completing a thriving academic development initiative.
Rydal Penrhos staff devised the popular Spelling Challenge scheme for pupils in 2017, which has three different levels each with 110 words.
The pupils have been encouraged to work towards their incremental targets of Gold, Silver and Bronze within each stage, with the successful pupils receiving their respective accolades from Prep School Head Alison Hind and Assistant Head Catherine Hughes at their weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, June 7.
Head Boy Ellis Lister-Brookes has demonstrated an incredible application during the current academic year in relation to the challenge, surging through the levels at a rapid rate in the process.
This has resulted in the influential Year 6 pupil coming through his final assessment to successfully secure his Stage Three Gold Award.
Another to achieve success from the latest round of tests was Nathan Richards, who now moves on to the second level after achieving his Stage One Gold Award.
Prep School Head Alison Hind, said: “Ellis has enjoyed a hugely successful year in his role as Head Boy here at Rydal Penrhos, and this is a responsibility he has taken seriously both in terms of representing the school in a positive way and leading by example academically and from a co-curricular perspective.
“We are thrilled to see all his hard work paying off across all areas of school life, and a special well done also goes to Nathan on his latest achievement.”
